My (now deceased) husband Dave and I bought Cerberus from her in the late 1990s. She seemed a remarkable and knowledgeable woman. Sorry to learn of her passing. Prayers to her family.

Paddy was a great mentor, friend and breeder. Her love for her Danes was exceptional. Paddy was always there to support and advise. We will miss her very much. RIP dear Paddy❤️

I met Paddy in February of 1967 when she and her husband John were living in Connecticut and connected with Nancy-Carroll Draper’s Danelagh Kennels. My husband and I had gone there to buy a Dane puppy, the first of two which we ultimately purchased. I spent many hours at the kennel and as Paddy and I became friends we found many of our ideas coincided, especially those of puppy socialization. She became a supportive mentor while I was showing and breeding Danes in Connecticut and when I moved back to California, and until recently, always a ready source of information when a question came up that no one else could answer. She always wanted me to get a harl but I laughed and told her I was afraid the closest I would ever get to black marks on a Dane would be a brindle. How she will be remembered - calm, strong, thoughtful, caring, and a wicked sense of humor …..she will be greatly missed. -Weegie Caughlan, Saga Great Danes.

Patty was a great lady and very important to the Great Dane World. She will be GREATLY missed!!!!

I have known Paddy and John for 25 years. I stated out working for her as a housekeeper then traveled with her as a friend with her beautiful dogs. I have known Paddy as a very close friend and love her as family.

She has taught me much over the years. I have seen her strong will to keep going in the worst of times and her Irish temperament at times. I have had some great laughs also with this lady. Her dog "Charli" took us many miles across the states and Canada . she often said Charli put her on the map.She will be missed by many who knew her well. It has been a privilege and a challenge at times to serve her in these last days.

Rest in peace Miss Paddy.

When you have the opportunity to meet and spend some time with a beautiful lady such as Paddy, you never forget her presence . She was comfortable, sweet, kind and respected by everyone.

She loved our Breed, she new our breed, she improved our breed, with such love, dedication, with her gentle ways. She and Jean had come to my home years back, to see my Zuhra /AJ pups. I felt like I had known her my entire life, if I had lived near Paddy I would have been her Velcro friend.

She is someone I truly wish I could have spent everyday with. And I am deeply saddened by her passing .. and watching her show her dogs put a smile on all our faces.
