Mrs.Perry, I got to know Don while working at Allen Residential Center. There was never a problem I had that he didn't quickly try to handle or fix for me. I will always remember him with gratitude and appreciation. My condolences to you and your family.

Losing someone like Donnie leaves a hole in the heart of the earth. My sympathies to the families. I remember Donnie with great fondness, and was so sad to hear this. Donnie always put a smile on my face and a laugh in my heart. Hands-down, the best hug I ever got was from Donnie!
I was so saddned to hear of Don's passing. I have been honored to know him as a tractor puller, consessioner,horseman, fainting goat person, co-worker and most of all friend. He was a gentle giant in all of those arenas. His forthrightness and humor made him a man of men. I will miss him.

My heart is saddened to hear of the passing of my old friend. Don always made me laugh and always had a big old bear hug for me when I needed it. Many, many years ago, Don told everyone he was my big brother and if they messed with me, they would have to answer to him (and he meant it). He was a wonderful friend, a wonderful person and a big old Teddy Bear with a heart bigger than he was. He will be missed by all who knew him. I pray for Donnie that he may rest in peace and for his family that he cherished so very much. RIP my old friend.

So sorry to hear about Don. I wish I had spent a little more time shooting the breeze with him, but at least we got to see him for a little while this summer. Please know that my families thoughts and prayers are with your family.

I am very sorry for your loss. Don worked for me when he was a young man delivering gas and oil to our customers. He was a loyal, friendly, hard working young fellow, who, even after he left,always maintained our friendship. I will also miss him.
