Obituary of Ethel Marian Utter

DELHI Ethel "Marian" Utter, 87, of Delhi, passed away Tuesday, November 01, 2011 at O'Connor Hospital, Delhi. She was born on July 14, 1924 in Castle Creek, the daughter of Charlie and Jenny (Hymers) Peters. She married Francis Glenn Utter, Sr. on May 17, 1943. Marian was employed as a food service technician for many years at SUNY Delhi. She is survived by a son and daughter in law, Stephen and Beverly Utter of Delhi; grandchildren, Renee Wamsganz of Schenectady, Stephanie (Todd) Parks of LuRay, VA; Abby Eggler of Oneonta; and Heath (Christa) Utter of Oneonta; great grandchildren, Angeleah Rivers and Chelsea Afenyoh of Schenectady, TJ Parks of LuRay, VA; Bennett and Madeline Eggler of Oneonta, and Haley Utter of Oneonta. She was predeceased by a daughter, Patricia Utter; a son Francis G. Utter, Jr.; her husband Francis G. Utter, Sr.; and a son, David A. Utter. There will be no calling hours. A graveside service will take place privately at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place in Woodland Cemetery, Delhi.
