Obituary of Louise Schiavone
DELHI
Beloved Mother and Grandmother Louise Schiavone, 75, of Delhi, died Sunday, May 13, 2012 at O'Connor Hospital in Delhi.
She was born June 4, 1936 in Staten Island, the daughter of Louis and Anna (Bono) Baldassano.
A supervisor for the New York City Police Department, Louise retired in 1995 and moved to Delhi to be closer to family. She was an excellent cook, and loved to garden and dance when she was able.
Especially fond of traveling, Louise spent a few years as a traveling salesperson.
She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Delhi.
Louise is survived by 2 daughters, Tracy Ann Kinch of Delhi, and Antonia (Toni) Jetter of Delhi; 6 grandchildren, Anthony Schiavone, Elizabeth Jetter, Deanna Kinch, Michelle Jetter, John Jetter III, and Joseph Kinch; 1 great grandson, Skylar MacIntyre; 2 brothers, Nicholas Baldassano of Delhi, and Anthony Baldassano of California; 1 sister, Ann Marie Jones of Delhi; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Calling hours will take place on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 from 6 - 9 p.m. at the MacArthur Funeral Home, Delhi. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 17, 2012 at 2 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 3 Delview Terrace Extension, Delhi, with President Steve Dixon.
Burial will take place at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, donations are asked to be made to the Bovina Emergency Squad.
