Obituary of Harry Glen Tompkins

Harry Glen Tompkins, Jr., 60, formally from Stamford, NY, passed away Thursday, November 24th unexpectedly at Hamilton Community Hospital. Born November 15, 1956 in Stamford, Son of the late Harry Sr. and Charlotte Tompkins. Harry was an avid outdoorsman. Hunting and the love of the outdoors was a family tradition for many generations. Harry is survived by his life partner, JoAnne Hackett of Morrisville, NY; two children: Daniel Glen (Racheal) Tompkins of Cazenovia, NY and Nathalie (Michael) D'Agostino of Delanson, NY; and several nephews, nieces and cousins. Harry was proudly anticipating the births of his grandsons in January and February 2017. Besides his parents, Harry was also predeceased by a sister, Debbi and a brother Kenny. Funeral services will be held on 4PM on Saturday, December 3, 2016 at MacArthur Funeral Home, 40 Cornell Ave., Hobart, where friends and relatives are invited to call on the family one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. The family asks for family and friends to bring a dish to pass for a gathering and sharing of stories at the Stamford Baptist Church, 40 Lake street Stamford NY.
