Obituary of Robert A. McNee
DeLANCEY _ Robert A. McNee of DeLancey, died on Aug. 13, 2012.
He was born April 14, 1925, in DeLancey to William F. and Elizabeth Aitken McNee.
He attended the DeLancey Grade School and Delaware Academy in Delhi.
In 1946, Robert married Margaret Dow McNee and for over 50 years they operated their Bide-A-Wee Jersey dairy farm, raising and showing Jersey cattle and Belgian horses.
Robert was a member of the DeLancey United Presbyterian Church, an early member of the Dairymen's League and G.L.F. Farmer's Cooperatives, and served on the Board of Directors of the Delaware County Fair in Walton.
He is survived by Margaret, his wife of 66 years; a daughter, Susan McNee of DeLancey; a son and daughter-in-law, Jeffrey R. and Gail McNee of Walton; a grandson, Casey McNee and his wife, Sherre; a grandson, Michael Doig; and a great-grandson, Mark, all of Walton.
Robert was predeceased by his sister, Major Grace M. de Aguiar; and by his brother, Lieutenant Colonel William E. McNee.

Private burial services will be held in Woodland Cemetery, Delhi.
