I’m so sorry to hear about Carson. He was a great mentor to me growing up. I have a lot of fond memories spending time with him on their farm.

My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

Carson will be missed so much by many, including Roger & Karen. He & Betty were our neighbors across the lake in Canada and always a part of our summer. We have many memories of fishing with them and cottage stories. Love them like family.

I am sorry to hear about the passing of Bert Carson Spurlock. I am another cousin from Kentucky. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I feel honored to have known this amazing man as "Dad". He was always smiling, had a great joke, and a personality that could make the gloomiest day seem bright. I have so many happy memories of spending time with the family at the farm and in Canada. The practical jokes were funny - aliens on Constant Lake(?!?), plastic fishing lures that found their ways into places they shouldn't have been, and always the "social" drink time that led to more than one. God has gained an angel that will bring joy and happiness to Heaven. I love you Mom and Tim - I will always be here if you need me! And I WILL keep calling and checking up on you both! Love you!

Terry and I extend our deepest sympathies to the family of Carson. My father was Oscar Patrick, Aunt Nell's brother, and I recall many times when Carson would come to our home and just chat with Mother and Daddy. Carson was always a first-class gentleman, and was ambitious in his quiet ways. He, Harold, Paul Edward, Mac and Myron were at most of the family reunions, and we all enjoyed being around them.

Jack and I send our deepest sympathy to all of you. I don't remember ever meeting Carson, but, of course, I knew who he was. I am the granddaughter of Nell's brother, Oscar, and daughter of Creed Patrick. I spoke with Carson once by phone while you were at your cottage in Ontario. Jack and I lived in Ottawa, Ontario, for 15 years. I visited with Glenna when she was in Kentucky for Larry Bruce Hall's funeral a couple of years ago.
